Our verdict

Windsurf, the agentic editor formerly from Codeium, has been folded into Cognition's Devin and its URL now redirects to Devin Desktop. The editor still offers strong agentic multi-file editing and unlimited free tab completions, with Pro at $20. The rebrand makes its long-term direction less clear, and rolling daily and weekly quotas are harder to reason about than credits. Solid, but Cursor holds the momentum.
