#5 in Backend & Deploy Platforms
Netlify review (2026)
Static sites, Jamstack and simple full-stack deploys
Our verdict
Netlify pioneered git-based deploys for static and Jamstack sites and remains a simple, reliable host with built-in forms, serverless functions and deploy previews. A $9 Personal plan makes it cheaper than Vercel for small commercial projects. It's less optimized for cutting-edge Next.js features, and its momentum has slowed relative to Vercel. A solid, budget-friendly host for sites exported from AI builders.
